Malam sobat, kembali lagi dengan tutorial yang ingin saya bagikan. Sesuai janji saya di postingan tentang instalasi Windows 7 untuk pemula, kali ini saya akan menunjukkan cara membuat bootable ISO. Misalnya, jika sobat memiliki DVD/CD installer Windows atau Ubuntu/Linux, tentu file-file tersebut sudah terpisah. Nah, bagaimana kita membuat satu paket lagi agar bisa diburning menjadi ISO? Memang bisa dengan copy DVD/CD, tapi kita juga ingin punya cadangan agar tidak tercecer. Jadi, intinya kita akan membuat installer OS yang sudah diekstrak atau diburning menjadi berformat ISO lagi.

Ada dua jenis file ISO: yang bootable (bisa digunakan untuk instalasi saat diburning) dan non-bootable (walaupun diburning, tidak bisa digunakan sebagai installer). Di sini, saya akan menunjukkan cara membuat file ISO yang bootable. Siap? Langsung kita mulai!

System Requirements:

  • Sistem Operasi: PowerISO dapat diinstal pada Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, dan 10 (32-bit dan 64-bit).
  • Ruangan Disk: Pastikan Anda memiliki ruang disk yang cukup untuk menginstal PowerISO dan menyimpan file ISO yang akan dibuat.
  • Memori: Minimal 256 MB RAM diperlukan, meskipun lebih disarankan untuk memiliki RAM yang lebih besar untuk kinerja yang lebih baik.
  • Prosesor: Prosesor Intel Pentium 166 MHz atau yang lebih cepat dianjurkan.
  • Perangkat Optik: Jika Anda merencanakan untuk membuat bootable ISO dari DVD atau CD, pastikan perangkat optik (DVD-RW atau CD-RW) berfungsi dengan baik.

How to Install?

  1. Prepare the Bootable ISO: Ensure you have downloaded the bootable ISO file from a reliable source.
  2. Create Bootable Media: USB Drive: Insert a USB drive (at least 8GB in size) into your computer.Burn to Disc: If using a DVD, insert a blank DVD into your optical drive.
  3. Use Software to Create Bootable Media: For USB Drive: Use tools like Rufus, UNetbootin, or the built-in Windows tool (using Command Prompt or PowerShell).For Disc: Use burning software like PowerISO, Nero Burning ROM, or built-in tools in Windows or macOS.
  4. Set BIOS/UEFI to Boot from Media: Restart your computer.Enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing Del, F2, or Esc during boot).Set the USB drive or DVD drive as the primary boot device.
  5. Boot from Bootable Media: Save changes and exit BIOS/UEFI. Your computer should boot from the bootable media (USB or DVD).Follow on-screen instructions to install the operating system or perform tasks as needed.
  6. Follow Installation Instructions: Proceed with the installation as prompted by the operating system or tool.
